At Harvest our mission statement is: Changing Lives, Changing the World, through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Bible is God’s word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God created mankind in His image and that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

No man can save himself by good works. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, who was 100% man and 100% God, is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He died as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

That all who repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and become God’s children.

We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ as Lord, King and Judge.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers us with spiritual gifts, in order to be an effective witness.

We believe that pastors carry the responsibility for oversight and care of the members. Where necessary pastors must carry out biblical discipline for the protection of the local Church.

In accordance with Galatians 3:28 and Ephesians 4:11, we recognise our total equality in Christ and do not discriminate between gender, race or class. We further affirm that men and women alike are scripturally qualified to fulfil a five-fold ministry and governmental function.

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the 'breaking of bread'.

We believe that we are all being sanctified; this is a definite yet progressive work of grace, starting when we accept Jesus Christ into our lives and continuing throughout our lives.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ whilst here on Earth.

We believe that we are born again of His Spirit. We believe in unity with both the local churches in our community as well as the Greater Church around the world.
